Meet Ronnie, the 2-month-old chocolate Labrador with a very adventurous (and slightly mischievous!) appetite

Ronnie came into the clinic after swallowing a sock, a classic puppy mistake, but one that can quickly become serious in little dogs.
To help safely bring it back up, he was given an injection to induce emesis.
The result? A very successful recovery mission
Ronnie vomited a significant amount of undigested foodโฆ along with the missing sock AND a shoelace

Thankfully, heโs now doing well and back to his cheeky self. Puppies will be puppies, but this is a good reminder that socks, shoelaces, and other โfunโ household items can pose a real foreign body risk.
Ronnie will be kept under close watch, and weโre very relieved everything came back up safely
( you can see he looked very sorry for himself!)
