Beautiful Bonnie the Norwegian Forest cat came to see Louise for an eye check after some concerns with her eyelids. On examination, Bonnie was diagnosed with bilateral lower eyelid entropion.
This is a condition where the eyelids roll inwards, causing the eyelashes and fur to rub against the eye, which can be uncomfortable and lead to irritation.
Bonnie was booked in for surgery to correct the issue, and Louise performed a modified Hotz-Celsus procedure on both lower eyelids to carefully restore a comfortable eyelid position. The surgery was completed successfully, and Bonnie was closed up with tiny sutures to allow for the best healing possible. 
At her post-operative check, Bonnie was an absolute superstar! 
Her wound looked fantastic, there were no concerns, and she was such a good girl that her sutures could be removed without any fuss.
