More Complex Surgical Cases

Our Practice Principal has a postgraduate certificate in small animal surgery, which means that he has the knowledge and experience to perform a number of more advanced operations.

You can find out more about Matt here

Prescriptions

Some pets require repeat supplies of medication.

We will work with you to obtain their treatments in the most economical way we can.

Consultations

We make sure that we set aside plenty of time in our consults to discuss your concerns and examine your pet.

You will be able to see the same vet each time you visit us.

Separate Dog and Cat Wards

We have purposefully designed separate wards so that our inpatients feel as calm and comfortable as possible.

In-house Laboratory

We can perform a number of laboratory tests on site, which helps us to respond quickly and efficiently to signs of illness in your pet.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound is another imaging test that we have available.

This can be especially helpful for assessing soft tissues such as body organs and lumps and bumps.

X-ray

An x-ray is an imaging test that helps us to view inside your pet’s body if required.

X-rays are particularly effective for assessing dense structures (like bones) and air-filled structures (like lungs).

Dental Care

Our dental equipment enables us to look after your pet’s oral health.

Operating Theatre

We have our own well-equipped operating theatre, which means that we can perform surgical procedures on-site.

Pet Passports

Our Practice Principal is an Official Veterinarian, which means that he is a able to perform specific tasks on behalf of the UK Government.

This includes preparation of your pet’s passport if you are taking your pet abroad.

Home Visits

We understand that travelling to our practice may not be possible at times for a number of reasons.

In this instance, please call our friendly reception team to enquire about a home visit.

Puppy and Kitten Advice

When you register your new puppy or kitten with us, we will be there to support you through the early weeks and months of pet ownership.

Any questions, decisions or challenges, you will be welcome to get in touch.

Neutering

Neutering is a surgical procedure, called “castration” in males and “spaying” in females. It prevents unwanted litters and can help to protect against some illnesses.

We would be happy to chat through the pros and cons with you so that you can make an informed decision about your pet.

Microchipping

Our team can perform this quick and simple procedure for you, helping your pet to be identified if they become lost or stolen.

This is now a legal requirement in England for dogs over eight weeks of age.

Vaccinations

We offer a full vaccination service for dogs, cats and rabbits, helping you to protect your pet from a range of illnesses.
