I would like to start by saying a personal thank you for joining our practice and for choosing us to look after your pets.
We have been overwhelmed by the positive response that we have received from our lovely local pet owner community since opening in 2020.
The reason for me contacting you today is to advise you of some upcoming changes to our out-of-hours service.
You may be aware that recruiting vets has become increasingly difficult in recent years for practices across the country.
In order to protect our existing vet team, and to help us maintain our excellent standards of care for your pets throughout the day, we have decided to partner with local, Kettering-based emergency care provider, Key Vets, to reinforce our out-of-hours service.
Our vets at The Kettering Vets will continue to cover emergency calls until 10pm on weeknights and 6pm on weekends. The exception to this will be in the case of team absences.
If you have an emergency after these times, please call our normal practice number (01536 722555) and you will automatically be redirected to the experienced team at Key Vets.
This change will come into effect from Monday 18th July.
